KittyScan ("we", "our", "the app") is built with privacy as a default. This policy explains exactly what is collected, how it's used, and what stays on your device.

Cat photos (transient processing only)

When you tap "Analyze," the image you selected is sent over HTTPS to our backend (a Cloudflare Worker), which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude AI for visual analysis. The analysis result is returned to your device. We do not retain the photo on our servers, and Anthropic processes the image solely to return the analysis.

Purchase information

In-app purchases (analysis packs, Pro Monthly subscription) are processed entirely by Apple. We receive a transaction receipt to verify your entitlement. We do not see your payment method or Apple ID.

Optional sign-in (Sign in with Apple / Google)

If you choose to sign in to sync history across devices, your Apple ID or Google account email is stored only to identify your account on our backend. You can use the app fully without signing in.

We do not retain photos. If you sign in for sync, your account record is kept until you delete it (email us to request deletion).
